The National Movement of Young Legislators (NMYL) is an organization in the Philippines composed of young elected local officials such as councilors, board members, and other young legislators. It aims to develop leadership, promote good governance, and strengthen cooperation among young public officials across the country.
The 27th National Convention and Election of the National Executive Committee refers to a major gathering of NMYL members where representatives from different provinces and cities meet to discuss policies, share best practices in governance, and strengthen collaboration. During this convention, they also elect the National Executive Committee, which is responsible for managing and directing the organization’s programs, projects, and activities for the next term.
During the 27th National Convention, members were issued Membership ID cards which they wore throughout the event. These IDs were used through a tap-based system for attendance monitoring and food service claiming. By tapping their cards at designated kiosks or scanners, participants were able to quickly record their attendance and claim their meals efficiently. This system helped streamline the registration and food distribution process, ensuring a faster, more organized, and secure event operation.
